G'day Blokes, My right hand tank badge keeps coming unstuck so I'm searching for clues to some sort of generic type adhesive that wont damage the paint work but do the job. Any thoughts would be appreciated. ( I suspect a little drop of fuel was the culprit.)
3M double sided tape is what you need, not the supercrap cheap shit. Isn't affected by fuel (unless it is soaking in it). Most automotive shops that mix paints sell it. I buy it in a large roll, so I don't know if it comes it small rolls. Never goes "off" so you'll have it for years. I've used it where ever double sided tape is required. Sticks like shit to a blanket.
Soft...

Ther's a few options on fleebay, the double sided film looks good for applications requiring a thin join/bond.
scroll down a bit on the fleebay page, past the yankee suppliers to get to the ozzie ones.
Cheers bloke.
