I used to on my Iron and every now and then I had to tighten the four bolts on my stem

Check out Zombie Performance, he's in the US but so much cheaper then bars here in Aus. I got the Clown Cars ones and loved them. Great service from him...

I fitted 14" Burly narrow apes to my 08 Nightster and they moved on me once when I hit a large pothole.

It took me by surprise and I yanked on them hard to maintain my balance.

They only moved maybe 2 inches at the top. I nipped them up and over a year later it hasn't happened again.

Also, they were knurled which I understand helps stop the slipping a lot. I shoulda done them up tigher in the first place.

    Hope the info helps.

On my chopper I've used a bead of clear silicon on the clamp, I'm running 16's, 3 inch risers and a 70's springer fork and they haven't moved a millimeter.

Nightrod with apes looked shocking . They were really high . Thought he was going to crash when trying to move

you can score the risers and the bars to help them grip better, made a difference to my minis
