The missus spent 7 years riding pillion  then cracked the shits, if her sister can ride then so can she. Got her licence, bought the Vstar 650 and wants a Heritage when the P plate goes. And rides like a demon.

Well done to her, my missus has just decided its time to get off the pillion seat and get her learners, she also wants a Harley
so she will be starting off on the Street 500 then most likely onto the Fatboy I no longer use so much.

Mine looked at the Street 500, "I'm not riding that!" she says. Rode Dads Vstar 250, "too small" she says. Tried my old 1200 Sporty, "too top heavy" she reckons. It was a bit like Goldilocks and the three bikes...... Anyway she settled on the 650, thought it might be too big but within weeks she was happy as. Can't keep her off it.

My wife has had her licence longer than me. The only bike she wants to ride though is mine and that ain't happening.

The V Star looks like a good fit for your missus Roo ted.

I find it much more fun riding when the Mrs is on her own bike and not the pillion.

BTW the big dog behind the gate in the pic looks a bit jealous of the little terrier.

My wife is on her 3rd Harley, and is very encouraging of her friends getting on to the brand.

My partner rides her own bike which is great, at least I don't have to pillion and I can keep the single seat on the bike as the stock seats looks like shit.

I'm all for woman riding their own bike, go girls its great to see you getting out there enjoying the bikes why should the guys have all the fun
