Hi Guys

I've got S&S wide oval slipons on my Road King.  They sound good with a low rumble but I would just like to hear them without the baffles in them.  Has anyone ever had these pipes and removed the baffles??  There are four bolts in the back which appear to hold them in.  I have removed the bolts and the baffles dont budge.  No other  bolts from the bottom or anywhere else.  I have even tried to pull them using a slide hammer with medium force and they havent budged.  Am I missing something ??
 

Had them on my RK as well. The baffles do come out but there is an 'O' ring that seals the end plate and this keeps it pretty snug. I pulled them out while the mufflers were of with the aid of a broom handle from the other end.(gently though)

Just the 4 bolts. Never really ran them without the baffles. Just pulled them appart out of interest. Had removed the cat from the header pipes and was happy with the sound. Not too loud which is what I was after. But they look cool.

Love the wide Oval look under the bags.  The sound is good to.  Was just curious what they would sound like.  I dont want too loud.
