I'm looking at getting a second hand set of 2014 heritage shocks fitted with the HD lowering kit. They have done 4000km which is bugger all, just wondering if there are any differences in the 2014 heritage shock to the 08 US night train shock. Last thing I wanna do is try to fit them and have them not fit. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to buying the HD kit as opposed to getting aftermarket.

Depends on the price of the shocks shouldent be that different Don't know what the hd lowering kit is worth. But you can get the aftermarket ones for around $100 easy to fit if you have press to fit the kit as you need to press the shock apart to fit them up
