Me too; I actually admire watching the engine vibrate at the lights, and love how it all smooths out at the speeds I want to travel at. Be strange to have a bike in the future that didn't have this personality.

Sh!ts me though the amount of (alleged) journo's that review HD's and make negative commentary about 'the vibes'. Poorly informed. Usually a hot tip that they are better qualified to review things other than bikes...

Mmmmm must be why the Mrs likes riding on longer trips since I upgraded from the Bonneville to the Lowie.

But seriously, how do I stop my wing mirrors shaking .... so much so, that I can't identify the vehicle behind, from a cop car or a Mr. Whippy van ?

Can't help you there brother -- my 2015 FXDF mirrors work a treat, better than most of my previous Jap bikes.

They all vibrate, that's what wakes you up after a night on the sherberts :)

Thought problem was mostly rectified by 2010... anyway do a little research on fitting shims (no not she-hims) on the front engine mount. That fixes most of the vibration that is 'not normal' for a Dyna

And then she vibrated 'too' much. I lost my first rego plate and then nearly the placement. And the SE Heavy Breather was nearly lost twice -- when travelling over 100 km/hr.

The dealer has been very helpful and we hope the extra fasteners (rego plate) and Loctite (breather) does the job. I'm hoping we can move on.

It sucked that it happened and I had to limit the rides to close to home at the moment as I don't trust it yet. Also meant I missed the day/night with the lads up Snowy way. Went for one blast through the local twisties without drama so will push out again soon with tool kit attached.
