    Hi Guys,

Im on the quest for more power from my 103ci. I Plan to stick to the scremaing eagle products

Most of my riding is done through the suburbs, Will I hate the stage 4 kit?

Any fellas out there with Stage 4 103ci's willing to share their opinion on them?

There is plenty on the forum regards stage 4 kits. Most tuners will ask a simple question, what do you want from your bike? The answer determines how mild or wild they will go with the motor. A stage 4 is a substantial jump in power and tq but mostly in the upper rev range, not all that good for city wk but great as a bar hopper. My two bobs worth would be to get a decent cam, and again the options are vast, but speak to someone who knows so you can add to the cam if need be with high comp pistons heads etc without replacing the new cam. There are better options than screaming eagle products as well..........

blunt, I have just had my bike done went from a 96 to 106, heads done, 585 cams, propipe, high comp pistons etc and got 103hp and 117 torque, spent a fair bit. Before they started work on my bike they put it on the dyno and it was already making 90 hp and it only had 204 cams a supertuner and bigshot pipes, my point is you could spend $2000 say on cams tuner air filter and pipes, some dyno time and have a decent outcome or you could spend a shit load chasing big hp and waste that money if you only ride around town and never use that power. It is hard to get good advice even though i have received good advice from the guys on here. I would go to a reputable engine builder and tell them what you want from your bike and what sort of riding you do and go from there. also agree with pauly there are a lot more options than just screaming eagle. hope this helps

I was itching to pull the trigger on some work before Christmas
But from what I've read around here and all the advice I got - Decided to hold up for a bit into the New Year

Still Tossing up whether to do Stage IV but I've also thrown up the idea of doing a Stage III

stage 4 in my fatbob. 60,000 ks with out missing a beat. Carted me, the missis and a heap of luggage the full circle of Aus.
Absolutely love the power. No problems riding round town or across Australia.
