just wanting to get some opinions on best options for saddlebags on a softail deluxe 15 model, I like the HD Detachable smooth bag with 2400cubic inches of storage but i still feel they might be a lil small theyre are a few saddlebag producers out there but all of proven qaulity only come from the US (Boss Saddlebags and others). IF you have the HD Detachables please let me know if youre happy with them or not or if you have any other suggestions.

I've had these since day one on my Deluxe, 88237-07 happy with mine, the more room you have the more shit you put in them which is the case with any storage. Only fault is the press stud clip on the corner flaps had pulled out over time and I haven't redone them as yet, no big issue.

Hi LUX O, another option is "Eze brackets" or a similar thing called "Ghost brackets". They come as a kit which contains mounting lugs for rear fender holding bracket plus a detachable, lockable bracket that can be fitted to just about any saddlebag,pannier, (or even suitcase if a saddlebag doesnt cut it) you want.
