Fatboy 2007 rear wheel to 2003 fatboy

    It should be. Both should be a 3/4 inch axle. You wanting the 200mm rear tyre? If thats the case you'll need to change a few more things also.....

    I had an 07 fatboy and i thought it had 25 mm axles. this is the year they changed to metric bearings. Anyone like to confirm?

    Your correct Hutch 06 had 3/4 the 07 was 25mm

    carnt you replace 25mm with 3/4 bearings in the 17in rim

    You are best to physically check the wheel you intend to fit for bearing size. As I have an '07 softail custom rear wheel I'm putting on my '01 Heritage and it has 3/4 inch bearings also. I think '07 was a slap together year for HD. With a mix of left over 3/4" and 25mm bearing used. Probably depending on date of manufacture. As they say in the trades..... Check twice cut once.

    Sorry Hydroduck and others for throwing a spanner in the works but It's better to find out sooner than when it's too late.
    I could be wrong on this as there are more learned colleagues on here than me.
    I remember going to do something with my wheels but stopped due to incompatibility. Maybe Gnoo is right with the two sizes for that year. Surely H-D dealers should know also.
    Maybe there was a difference between fatboy wheels as I had and other softail wheels. Dunno folks
