New and got the HD bug

    Hi all - I have been riding bikes since teens and have owned only Japanese bikes. Have been away from bikes for almost 2 decades and have the bug again - this time it will be a Harley. Live Central Coast NSW and looking forward to the forums (some really interesting and helpful stuff on here). Cheers

    Thanks all - what will I be getting???? At this stage I am set on an Iron. Good bike for a beginner?? Lol. Love the look - black denim.  If it wasn't that it would be a bike that I can two up with my wife. But that will be really stretching it ??

    I would go for a Dyna or Softail, as will save you updating soon after.

    Well I ended up with a Fat Bob and love it. So does my wife. Works a treat. So glad I waited.

    I thought 9 years ago, I'll get a sporty, turn it into a bobber then update to a big twin. Well I rode a 1450 Dyna straight after I rode the sportster at a Q-Ride with Morgan & Wacker and bought a fatboy that week! Still haven't bought a sporty but still a fun bike to ride. Glad you got a big twinyes

    I'm fairly new also, and ended up with a Fatbob. Have trouble going on solo rides sometimes.....Lol
