I guess it all depends what you want from the bike, I'm 6'2" 110kg, currently on a Street Glide, best bike I've owned.

They loaned me an 883 when the Streety was in for service, terrible bike for me. To small, vibrated to much and no power.

Try the bigger bikes, Dyna's and Softails, even the touring models, they all have flaws and upsides. Depends how long you want to sit on it...

6'2" and 100kgs and love my 883 Sporty Low. Ride her everyday to work and back... Very comfortable

Sporty low is very different to an Iron. I know because I started on a Sporty low then got an Iron and struggled, the sporty low was more comfortable

I had a Street Glide in August when I rode Route 66..........loved it, love the speakers............but I love my Breakout

I had a iron and it was fine on the freeway. I constantly did long 2-3 hour rides no dramas, I ended up with a stage one and really noticed the power difference

I got Stage One and Heavy Breather done before I picked my Iron up..........stock Iron's are pretty slow in my opinion

I know with dollars but way better getting the 1200 conversion if the Iron is the bike for you

Well after testing a fat boy and a 1200C I still wasn't happy. Jumped on a Fat Bob and loved it. Loved it so much I bought it. Terrific bike - and with my size fits me well. Thanks again for all the advice.

Hilarious!!! Well I ride daily to work and take a longer way home. My wife loves being a pillion, so much so it's hard to get a solo ride on the weekends lol. I am so glad that i waited for around nine months, tried different models and listened to advice from here. Could not be happier!!!

I had a iron 883 for quite a while stock and I rode to Brisbane to bribie island every day so 220 ks a day most highway, and I always felt it needed another gear, but also remember these bikes love to rev. Anyway 3 months later I got a stage one and oh boy did it make a difference. Get the stage one and it'll feel less like it needs the extra gear and have more zoom and overall speed made the trip heaps easier for me
