Just had a 200/55 70 VR17 American Elite fitted to the rear of my 2008 FXSTSSE2 CVO Springer

Bike Tyre City in North Perth. Quite good , careful attentive service , done " in front of you" !

That's here in Perth Western Australia. I picked this tyre on recommendation from the US CVO forum.

    $325 Australian dollars , balanced and fitted ( that's $222.40 USD !)

What do they cost "over there in the US " I wonder ?

I'll get the front done next week , I'll take off the current wheel/tyre as I don't want a shop "FIDDLING" with the Springer front end !

Should cost $240 for a radial American Elite 3

I'll truck the loose wheel into the shop and reassemble myself , following the manual to the letter.

Too many nuts/bolts/brackets they have little experience on for my liking. Plus all have to be torqued in sequence , loctited etc etc.

Maybe just my "anal retention" but you get that haha...

Hav not used that tyre before retro ,but have been using dave for about 12 or so years now for tyres but I've always
Taken my wheels in to him one of the nicer blokes to have quick chat with whilst your getting tyre never won one of his trips
Though i must not buy enough tyres lol
