Hey Forum  dwellars, A quick G`day. Just came across an 09 XR1200 so im doinf the obligatory research and seeing what the general opinion is about them. Has low K`s and for the price i couldnt say no. This is my first Harley, am usually a sports bike nut, but a nasty accident has kinda made it hard for me to lift the leg let alone throw one over a sports bike. Am also in Cairns in the far north, so fantastic days and crappy QLD roads.

Thanks heaps for the welcomes. So i got the XR1200 home, it had been sitting for almost 3 years, and did the tank and injectors ect. so now it runs good. Am having to look at the disks and the tires, everything else is sweet as a nut. Will be a while though, Chrissy is on us and all, and toys get shelved until some surples dollars are available. Will fill you all in as the clean up and parts come in.
