Brake pads,, front and rear replacments, organic? or sintered?, on a 1989 heritage.

im seeing both types for sale on the internet, not branded (harley) but other brands,

so my question is to you who own and ride the earlier softails with standard brake set ups,,what brake pads are you happy with ,

so before l go buy a set l might have a better idea on which ???...

Thanks Dave,i'll go look up both brands, see what available,
l dont know the difference either, whats organic? made from staw or cow poo?, l dont know,
sintered l thought had those little bits of copper in them but im only guessing. better go do some home work l suppose,
the main reason l want to get it right is l put a set of organic on the rear of my streetbob and noticed the rotor has tarnished tan now looks like its been getting hot...
im not heavy on the rear brake either, they were an after market brand from ebay...thanks again..

Lyndal z organic is all I use on my bikes no brake dust grip and wear is pretty good have used sbs on different
Bikes over the years which are good to but you do get dust which promotes rust more on spokes and chrome stuff
Which I hate cleaning my bike all the time which you seem to do more so when own a Harley

Organic is less wear on discs to.  No metal in them

p/dog.. i'll look into both yours and Dave's reply.. thanks both..
i'm going to phone the harley shop and see what they sell, curious to know . l dont think they have their own brake bad factory ,probably sourced out from who knows where? i'm happy with the factory originals in my 2006 dyna, been there near 10 years just changed them last week for organics of ebay cause they were cheap, half the dealers price..they seem o.k. with 400km on them now..i'll post a reply with outcome here when i've purchased both front and rear sets...
