I used Motul in the old Katana for a while but I could always smell oil and it developed minor oil leaks, I swapped back to Shell at the time and everything was ok. It has always put me off using Motul.

I think it had about 40,000km on it and it was 20w50 part synthetic designed for air cooled big fours. It didn't use any oil but I could always smell oil and like I said it just weeped a little until I changed to shell. Very strange, but I have mates that swear by it ??

There's no drama with Motul oils. There synthetic oils are some of the best, I've read.
I've just tested Penrite SIN 25 in the Twin Cam. SIN 25 gives my bike more horsepower and it cools the motor down to 75 degrees. The clutch doesn't slip. All round I like this for a synthetic.
