'03 Dyna Super questions.

G'day all, I'm new to the forum.

I just offloaded an '06 Custom Sporty and slipped into the '03 Dyna Super. I can't ride the Dyna like the Sporty, the forks bottom out at the touch of the front brakes. So do I just run some heavier weight oil in the forks or am I wasting my time? If I'm better off dropping some progressives in can someone suggest a decent brand and a supplier, I'm happy to do the work.

While we're at it, anyone got a set of reduced reach controls for this machine?

Oh, and I'm after a set of factory mirrors..........

Cheers all and thanks in advance. Looks like a great forum here, I might stick around.

    Mate,

I put Progressives front with a fork brace and have found it much better than before.

Also put progressives on back (930's) better than stock but not as happy with them, should have gone with something a bit better, $ were an issue at the time.

Front is now very stable and even two up doesn't dive too much under braking.

    Ride Safe

    Thanks 78gold,

I was expecting to have to fit progressives. Was there a particular brand you used?  Where did you get them?

    Cheers, Roo.

Mine were made by progressive springs (Brand Name) and I got them in from the USA.

The fork brace made a difference as well and was fitted after the springs were done.

Probably go with Ricors or Hagon shocks for rears if doing it again.
