Globe looked fine, changed it anyway and still nothing, put a volt meter on the rear brake light switch wires and they were ok but nothing when i apply the both brakes, so i removed wires from rear brake switch and joined the circuit manually and now i get a constant brake light, so ill go replace the rear brake light switch. Fingers crossed

There was a replacement recall, for the rear brake light switch on certain models and years ... Looks like after your troubleshooting , you have found the problem..

So why is it only the rear switch when the front brake lever isn't making the light come on ether ? Two stuffed switches at once don't think so two different circuits that achieve the same thing

Thats what i thought perth hog, unless the front has to travel through the rear brake switch? Im gonna take it to the mechanics some time this week.

When you disconnect the wires to the rear switch ,does the light light up with front brake than if does maybe it is a stuffed rear switch ,maybe it's shortening to earth than back feeding
And causing both to not work Strange how neither are working though

No front brake still even when i disconnect the wires from rear brake switch, ìll try replace the starter/brake light/fuel pump relay before i take it to the mechanics

Got my bike back from the dealer, turns out both front and rear brake switches needed replacing. So my brake light works now but now i have a very sensitive front brake light which causes it to flicker when i rest my fingers on the lever!! F*@k sake...

I had to replace the rear brake switch on an 02 fatboy (my local mechanic figured it out)
I think it might be a common problem
I haven't had any problems with the front brake yet but where is the front brake hydraulic/electric thing?
