Im looking at a one owner 2009 super glide with 39000km on it

has heaps of accessories including super tuner, vance hines slip ons screaming eagle heavy breather performance air filter, windshield new tyres quick release back rest kit all for under $15k,

Im guessing like most motors be it boat car etc, its the way they have been looked after...

So from the wealth of exp here would those km put anyone off??

    cheers

That's low km in comparison to some.
I have over 60000km on my 2014 Fatbob.
The more km ya out in them the better they get ??

Those kms are ok but you could still push on the price. Lots of good bikes (and with lower kms) asking mid- high teens but realistically selling for low- mid teens. Asking and selling prices are 2 diff things. And many have stage 1 mods etc. A mate of mine bought the same model superglide with lower kms, more accessories and a fair bit lower price

I have said it before,, we in the metric world have had a problem since we converted from miles to kms ... If you cant remember , ask your father, or you grandfather . The magic figure was was 100,000 miles , (ie, 160,000 km) .. Now we shit ourselves when we hit 100,000 km (62,000 miles)..

Yes , its nice to pick up a bike with low kms at a good price .... 39,000 km , (24,000 miles) , is f-ck all ,, If you are a buyer, there are a lot of good cheap bikes out there in the 50,000 -- 70,000 km range, that you can haggle over and get a great deal for your first bike, or have another bike in your garage .. Good luck with your hunting !!!!!!

I'm trying to sell a bike with 78,000km and can't get a sniff but agree 39,000km is not high.

The klm is ok but the price is too high ,, they were about 23 grand new ,, but remember when you buy new you have the privelige of paying dealer dilivery , gst , 2 years warranty and being the first owner ,, take these things of and the bike was probably only worth 20 grand . The bits and peices so what they were upt on so they could enjoy there 39 000 klms a 5 grand stereo in a old car does'nt make it worth 5 grand more ,, Anyway i just paid 20 800 for a brand new 2015 low rider for the extra 6 grand theres no comparison . if they won't drop the price , buy new and let them store it , Bikes are worth fuck all secondhand ,

Agree with Boxa , too dear today. Frasers had brand spanking Dyna streetbobs for $19995 ride away in a choice of colours just recently

    A few ( 6+) months back I located a 2009 Dyna Superglide with 9,800 K's for a young mate's first Harley

Vance & Hines Big radius curved , single and double seats , Kuryakyn air cleaner.

One owner , "Aussie bike " from new , a FIFO bike , guy had newish V8 Ford go faster ute , jetski etc etc

I looked for a while for a bike for him , this was a good buy at the time , he paid $13500 ( He just couldn't reach the $19995 Streetbob sadly !)

And I imagine it would be even less now !
