    Hi all

New member of the site. Bought a 2013 fatboy back in September. I thought, before I bought it, I'd be out maybe once a month riding but boy wasn't I wrong, the riding is addictive. I was out on it whenever I could. Even the wife likes getting on the back, but before we bought she wasn't sure about getting on it. Unfortunately, I'm now laid up with a major left rotator cuff repair (work related), 9 weeks in a sling. Hogging to get this thing fixed so I can get out riding again. First Harley, although I went to buy one 15 years ago and got the run around from a dealer and lost interest. Twelve months ago finished restoring a HQ Monaro and was looking for another interest to devote my time and love to (beside the wife). Came from a bike riding background, although haven't riden in 20 odd years, and a Harley sprang to mind. One of my best purchases, beside the wife, I could have made.

    Hi here
Thanks for the link. This is my second rotator cuff operation. I had my right shoulder done 3 years ago. I'm glad I only have 2 shoulders. I've posted 2 pics over in the members pic area. You'll notice the Monaro's colour almost matches the fatboy.

Welcome Soft..., yeah... riding Harley's sure is addictive, riding any motorcycle is addictive but a Harley even more so they just make you feel alive. Not being able to ride is just the worst..... I know, if I don't ride for a week I start feeling like crap. I just need to jump on the bike even if it's just for a quick spin around the block and instantly I feel better. So I really feel for yah....... Get better soon and go cruisin' with the Mrs. Good luck mate

Thanks youngblood. You're spot on with a spin around the block. The amount of times I've gone for a quick spin on a Thursday or Friday afternoon just to feel the wind in the face. How good is that. Releases tension and gets you ready for the weekend.
