Hi all,

I saw a ad in a mag for a s&s stage 6 kit that that is bolt on & produces something like 130 hp. I dont know much about the technical side of motors etc. so would like some input from you guys. Is it as simple as ordering this kit, getting someone to install it & ive got myself a rocket?  I assume bolt on means no modifications. What type of dollars would i expect to pay at a good shop to put it together?  Thanks -  any info would be apperciated from this newbie

You will also need to look at a clutch upgrade.

 

 

You'd also need to get the right exhaust to get near the numbers they're talking.

Exhaust on that bike was just a plan Jane Supertrapp 2:1 and seen plenty of stock clutches handle 130+ HP with just a spring upgrade

This is a Deano package and have had heaps of discussions with him in its development, I would rather this package than a stageIV

Plane jane supertrapp it might be but that's the sort of decent exhaust that'd be required to try and replicate S&S' numbers. The point I was trying to make is that people will run vance and hines short shots, dresser duals etc and wonder why they can't get near the same numbers. Unless you already have a decent exhaust you need to budget for that also.
