Gday All, New to forum so Hi to all. Ive had a search but cant find a answer on a question. Ive got a 13 FXDWG and looking at putting some Avon Cobras on as have had them before and liked them for performance and wear. Putting a 90/90-21 on front over the 80/90-21 which wont be a problem but want to put a 190/60R-17 over the old 180/60-17 i know they fit no problem with extra width when a chains fitted but was wondering with the standard belt as it will be close and was wondering if anyone has them fitted and any problems? I had the belt rub on the side wall on the odd occasion- usually when it was wet for some reason.

That was on an FXDS. The tyre was a venom so I'm not sure if there's been a change in the profile since the name change.

Thanks for the info, having another look and its going to be real close dont want to find out the expensive way, need to find one fitted with a belt, hate to see a belt go cornering.

I ended up moving the rubber flap on the belt guard slightly inboard and used the tyre until it wore out.

I never had any catastrophic problems, only the occasional squealing in the wet and the edge of the whitewall got scrubbed on the outside edge.
