2015 FXDWG - Rear Brake issue

    Hi all

Lately I have noticed my rear brake has a very little " feel " particularly compared to my mates 2014 Soft Tail - both have approx same ks. When I ride his soft tail I am continuely impressed with his rear brake and the amount of feeling you have through the pedal. Where as mine its pretty much on or off - there is not alot of feedback through the pedal.

I noticed that my master cylinder on the Wide Glide is located at the rear swing arm and is controled from the front via a rod, unlike the Soft Tail where it is at the pedal - could this be a factor?

Will an upgrade to stainless braid lines front and rear be required? or do I change the rear brake fluid and bleed up the rear ?

Any advice welcom PS - while the soft tail is nice and refined package over all, I really enjoy the somewhat " Old School " shake, rattle and roll of the Wide Glide.

    Cheers

Just to jump in. I thought it may have been the placement of the mastercylinder as per Jorgo500exc comment. I have an 2103 FXDWG and find the feel of the rear brake appalling. My old FXR forward controls had much better feel than the Wide Glide's.Appreciate the advice Ando. And sorry to Jorgo500exc for jumping in on your thread
