That is the funniest comment I've seen in a long time. Haha.

Everyone will be in their cleanest HD shirt that day, that's for sure. Hopefully it's near a pub for all the married blokes that want to stay out of trouble.

Just thought ide put this up.

In western Brisbane, ive noticed a big increase in the number of jap cruiser bikes and even heaps of them have been blinged up a bit just like many of us harley boys do, me included. Now since lane splitting become legal in QLD, I seem to pull up regularly beside a jap cruiser at the start of the traffic at lights, or a jap cruiser pulls up beside me. We allways have a quick chat and a joke especially on the larger intersections.

Not once have I experienced any anti harly sentiment. I never did before lane splitting become legal iether. Maybe its just an internet thing with anti harley sentiment but ive pulled up in plenty of places and if there are jap criser riders sitting around the coffee shop, ive allways found them to be good folk and enjoyed having a coffee with them. Ive never experienced riders doing the "mines better then yours" thing except if we were having a joke but thats allways been with folk I know.

Im just saying this cause I dont see anti harly sentiment anywhere really. If fact, it happens quite often in shopping centers that a bloke will come up and ask about the bike and tell me about the bikes they used to ride. I quiet enjoy hearing about some of there tales about the BSAs and other bikes they tell me that they used to ride and what they liked and didnt, ect. Even had a number of fairly old fellas tell me about the WLAs they used to ride and as they do, you can sense there reminicing as usually a bloody great grin forms on there mug.

Im just not sure theres that match real anti Harley sentiment going on, at least not in my experience anyway. Maybe therse a wider unspoken all brands cruiser club that just get it.

The only anti Harley sentiments I seem to hear, or should I say read are from this forum. Typical key board warriors to afraid to say it to anyone in the real word. If they did they would either get a laugh or an upper cut.
I have been riding various makes of motorcycles for over 34 years, with Harley's for the past 12 years and no one has ever bagged any of my bikes out yet. They only have praise for them and then the conversation starts from there. "I remember when".......or "I used to ride a"......
I am only making an observation here and that is anyone can have an opinion on Harley's and a genuine dislike of their own bike, but to put them all down and to start arguing with other forum members is always going to cause disharmony and trouble. Why do it?
Oh, and I made sure my spelling, grammar and punctuation is correct as I would not like to upset the forum proof readers! Not everyone has had a perfect education and to misspell a word happens to everyone from time to time. "Let he who lives without sin cast the first stone". There would be no stones on this forum that's for sure! Hutch.

Of course there are better bikes out there, I think if anyone was to ask these "some people", they will agree. But, what I'm saying, is that bagging out H-D's on a H-D forum, using a cacophony of verbs, nouns and adjectives will ultimately cause the hairs to become aroused and stand vertically upon the necks of most die hard Harley fans, Thus causing an angry response as witnessed herein within this very thread. I can only but agree with them.
You found my mistake. Well done. You win.

I am so proud to say I am a Harley Davidson owner
From the first raise of my hands to my custom fork extended pushy cruising with my mates. To standing in the most iconic man made temples in this world that have built to move mankinds spirts . Nothing manmade has had this effect on me. Where ever I am out in my small town of  goolwa s.a  both young and old men approch me in hardware shops playing sport, at the bar, attending meetings. All with the same sparkle in their eye saying I love your Harley and one day I to will own a harley davidson.

Amen to that, Bloodog. Well written.

I love mine too. Doesn't mean she or any other HD is the best bike in the world...it means that my FXDF is the best bike for me.

Respect to anyone who loves their ride, no matter what it is. We are all the same to the car driver that forgot to look twice, after all.

But hear this: while no brand can honestly say they are the best in the world, going by devotion, km's put under the wheels every year, and the amount of people that stay loyal to the breed, Harley Davidson has gotta be close to the top.

    This Video Says it all,
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLjVYCNJWqM

Haters will Always Hate, I had a bloke giving me shit in the city the other day about how unreliable/expensive/too heavy/too slow/too long pipes everything he could throw at me as i was parking the bike and locking it up (i was trying to ignore him) then three older women walking past interrupt him and tell me how much of a nice bike i have and asked how old i was and how old is the bike, one had a husband who rides and so on, meanwhile the limp dick who was just giving me shit about my bike disappeared completely. It was hilarious i didn't even need to say anything to him i can just imagine him still telling himself how shit harleys are. I didn't buy the bike to pick up, but god damn it was funny

Being a new Harley owner its fun to see these posts. Always ridden japs (apart from bantams when I was way younger) great bikes with great brakes, suspension etc, etc. Recently got a sportster, shit brakes, suspension etc, etc, so changed the suspension brakes etc, most fun on a bike for years. Isn't that why we ride, for fun. That motor may be ancient but shit it gives a smile, my Z1 needed riding the balls off it for half the fun, by the spec sheets a better bike, by the grin factor didn't even compare.
