ok I have a bike I brought from vic 2002 indcon  chopper was registered in vic for the last 15 years, did the revs check it says compliance do in 2004-02 so I buy it, now in NSW the bike mechanic says I need to supply the engineers report.. the guy I brought it off tells me he didn't have one he just registered it there,

pits got me stuffed what to do I have called a couple of engineering mobs and got 2 mental prices one for 4-5 thousand plus 90 per hour for any work and one for about 7 thousand - what the hell I almost fell off my chair when I heard these prices, does anybody know a engineer who does the job for a normal price in NSW or have any info on these situations where I might be able to get around doing this, each state has their rules but just seems to defy all logic to be all good in vic then the evil in NSW.

Any advise would be good thanks.

Typical reason why we don't need State Governments.

Would of liked to see the Bike together, then I can tell you what the problems are and how to fix them, but going on that photo it's only the Exhaust that will not pass.

Hey Walka - just added new tree's today and grabbed a new rear guard - the rake it actually 820mm from the tree centre bolt top side to the front axel - that's in told is the problem the law says 550mm but the things a chopper, the new tree's brought it back for 950mm I might be measuring wrong ?
