    Chriso

The Hagon Nitro shocks are made in the UK, and I think they are a company that has been around a good long while.

I got mine from Moose Racing Products Euroa (Vic), they were around $850 plus postage

Darrell who is the contact does an excellent job building up with the spring weight needed to suit the individual & there is a fair bit of adjustment with Nut also but I have not had to touch mine. maybe when I take the misses I might need to screw them down a little bit? but really so far  I'm thinking I wont have to.

About six full turns is indicated as being ok in the instruction sheet (which would make a decent amount of change to spring), and also they have 10 clicks of rebound adjustment (have not moved mine off mid position).

    regards Don

YSS in Adelaide, the guys name is Walter, l have had fournales on my bikes before and no doubt there good very good but so expensive it hurts, l tried YSS in Adelaide, Walter asks you what kind of riding you usually do how much you wiegh how much your pillion wieghs and your average road surface ,city road or bush roads he calculates all the info and them makes the shockers to suit your conditions.

I just bought a camper trailer for one of my bikes and thought ld get something custom made, gave walter all the info he neded and he knocked them up, pretty good looking shockers to ,l got him to shorten them by half an inch and they work better than anything l,ve ever used in 45 years on the road, I wont be going back to fournales thats for sure ,custom made Aussie quality for half the price of what the yanks or frenchies want ,check out the website, he specialises in Harleys but sells for all bikes including some serious racing gear. I dont have any interest in this mob but as always when l find something thats good quality for a good price l spread the word especially when its Aussie gear.  Website is     www.suspensionshop.org          Ballsy

YSS suspension is made in Thailand.

Your half right mate, l,ve been over there to the factory and there made in Adelaide ,,,Heaslip rd Mac Donald park, you cant order custom shocks with different spring rates and eye hole lenghts,  different pre load and rebound rates and get them in the mail from Thailand in under a week, they are definately from Adelaide, but your right they do have a factory in Thailand that mass producers scooter suspension and jap bike shockers, maybe l should have clarified this a bit better, all the Harley shocks are made in house in Adelaide, by the way they have factorys in the UK and thr States , what l was talking about was Harley shockers , for Harleys ,this is a Harley forum after all, cheers Ballsy

I'm sure they make good shocks, ( and I might look into buying a set at some time ),  but the parts used are manufactured in the Thailand HQ.   They also supply parts to Hyperpro apparently.

They mention on the YSS australia web site that the Harley shocks are "assembled" in Australia. At least that's something I guess.

Under the heading "country of manufacture" they list as  "N/A"

I replaced the standard shocks fitted to my Ultra (air shocks), with Ikon, 1000 times better. Ikon are made in Aus, down in Albury and have taken over the manufacture of the Koni shocks since Koni have gotten out of this side of the business.

Worth giving them a call, the shocks are fully rebuildable if needed & being made localy is always a good thing.
