Good Info, need bit over 11 volts just to power the ECU . If I was out on a run & had to use a jump start, I would connect a multi meter up get rev up around 2k 3k check regulator putting power back into battery, if not get new battery there & then. & new regulator.

Must get one of them jump starter packs, be handy for work or rides away, wonder how much juice it would need to start the 5 cyl diesel in the Ranger?
