    Ok
    Day one
After 56mm of rain overnight, we head off at 08:00 in dry but cool conditions drama free, through Horicks pas, a little damp but not slippery, the rain was there but not on us, we managed to stay in front of it most of the day, then we stopped for fuel and the spitting starts, each time we get out front, the temp got up to low 30s so a bit of rain was refreshing
A pie and a sausage roll for lunch in Broken Hill.
Goats, if you have never seen wild goats, the go from Cockburn to Cobar, by that time you get either way, you will never want to see another.
We were unsure if the Spyders would make Cobat from Wilcannia at 265k's, so we topped up at Emmdale.
Dinner at the Chinese at the Cobar bowls club

I don't have many pict but I will add them later

We may go through Sydney depending on time as we go

Back to the 21st century, we arrived at my uncles property out from Morven QLD. On Thursday after riding from Cobar from 32 to 39C to very light rain 10 k's from the house.
Great ride with very little traffic, lunch in Cunnamulla at the Billabong hotel, aircon was good but the schnitzel and salad was better, on leaving, 3 police cars, an ambalance and a plain cloths car pulls up at the house over the road, we think a death but I was a it concerned, they gave us a wave so the idle was passing the noise test.
Only a shot 2.5 k on the dirt through 1 gully, it was 4 days of 1823 living, no internet, no mobile phone, no Foxtel.
    A very relaxing time

We left this morning in the heat again, clear roads from Moeven except for a small sow and 2 piglets that jumped out about 10 feet in front of the missus before turning back into the scrub, a shit in the knickers moment that could have gone real bad, we were going for Toowoomba but the storm hit early so we stopped in Dalby.
For a Sunday, the traffic from Mitchell got steadily more, surprised us a little.

I will load up the couple pics I have at the brother in-laws out of Casino tomorrow night.

What a trip to casino, left Dalby around 09:00 22c in a bit of traffic but soon got in the passing mode, made good time, made Warwick for lunch, fuelled up and off to kallaney, looking into the rain clouds, we were expecting to be wet, he road thinned and got bouncy but we slowed and cruised on, scenic rout for sure.
Bit of a scare when the road works came into view, mud, slippery mud, 2ks, 21 inch front wheel slipping about, happy o see the bitumen.
Out of the hills towards Kyogle sitting about 40m back from the missus, I decided to catch her up, accelerating, he nothing, I had only revs, I thought I had done the drive belt, pulled up, checked, no issue there, clutch in, in gear, release clutch, nothing.

I can now hope it's the clutch and not a gear box.
Will go into Lismore in the morning to see if the bike shop will fix it.

Cruise out this morning from Casino at 09:00 on to Grafton, what a great stretch of road, I do like a tree lined road, I was impressed.
That's near were the fun stopped, we are ten years ahead of our time, by then the road works will have been done and the traffic will flow like the rivers, currently it is a speed range of 40 to 80 to Kew

It also rained, less than 100m visibility, bucketed down, the missus called it at 15:00, staying the night in Kew motel, $100 King bed, included wifi, laundry so we will have dry cloths for the morning
There is a pub next door, I will give it a pen later

We got warmed up and had tea at the pub, the Royal Hotel , I had pork baby back ribs $22 there was nothing baby about it, 2 ribs, both 8 inch long, cooked with a plum glaze, I could not eat it all, (doggy bag). Wendy had a cream garlic schnitzel and salad, also cooked brilliant.

After coffee Saturday morning we hit the road, no roadworks, no rain, for at lest 1 hour, on and off all the way to Sydney, just as we warmed up, down it coma again, rained all the way through Sydney, visors fog or rain, stop start traffic. Out the other side was a good run, medium rain , we had enough and called Goulborn the destination for the night, the Willow motel, got the Nod as we could access a drier. Chinese for dinner as they deliver

Sunday morning bleak clouds, they opened up 5 minutes down the road to reveal blue skies, this Hume gig is so easy, great ride all day, we stopped at the dog on the tucker box and met up with my nephew traveling t he other way.
Got into Ballarat at about 18:00
Will rest up till Wednesday morning then head to Torque and start the Great Ocean Road.
