Hey dudes I want to replace my front springs at stock height its just way to soft.

Have any of you used the Aussie Ikon springs?

Or should I just get progressive?

    .Thanks ????

Not sure this helps much but I used ikon springs on an airhead bmw and they were excellent and nice to deal with a local mob

I paid $168, but that was in March 2014.

Only got to fit them a month or so ago, due to a bad 18months of hospitals and operations.

These just drop in? Undo top clamp, fish out the stockers and drop the new ones in?

I was thinking about getting these. I ended up ordering Ricor Intiminators instead, so hopefully they turn up this week so I can put them in. The front suspension is dreadful on these things.

one other thing, how much spacer did you leave out of the top of the fork when off the ground? i think my spacer is to big, shes riding like a rock compared to before. i think it could be a little softer, but not heaps

Doc Robinson had good things to say about the Ikon range in the latest Heavy Duty, I'll be grabbing some for the FXDL when funds make themselves available, went over a stretch of road today that was so bad I thought I was going to break a hip.

Put progressive cartridges in my sporty, so, so, so much better, but also put GAZI shocks on so hard to say which made so much difference. But, for about $1200 all up definitely worth it.

A bit late but after, going through two sets of progressive springs n one of there shocks falling apart.

i went to a guy in Sydney name Terry Haynes ( shock treatment) he did the forks to my weight n ordered custom shocks made to my weight and what i was useing bike for. that was the best i've had on a Harley, but not cheap. but then again eather are harleys. just thought i would mention, also there are other Guy's that are good at that too. custom set up for you is best! just changing springs only half what you need like the damping important too n the rear shocks need to be matched. but more for people that will use it, hard to explain, but makes for a safer ride. too.
