Cheers for the warm welcome guys. I was very impartial to the front wheel. Rwc mechanic knocked it back so made the decision to find a new one relatively easy. Now just have to find one to suit haha

Welcome, Benny. If you don't mind me asking, why did the learned RWC men knock back the wheel? Probably saw their ugly mugs in it and scared themselves.cheeky Nice ride!

I'd expect no air flow. Side Wind buffering etc. I gotta get me an EVO FXR one day.

Makes you wonder how the early fatboy solid wheels got passed, don't it?

Only gor knocked back coz the rim has a slight flat spot in the outer edge. Barely there. Simple to roll out. However, seeing as was not 100% into it anyways, decided to get another

Flat spot is at about 8 o'clock if you were to look at the wheel as a clock face. Actually had to roll the bike around to get the light to shine in the right spot to be able to notice it. Guess the rwc mechanic had it in that right spot. ... half my bloody luck haha

Thats a 21" front solid wheel. That looks slightly raked. That 5" wider then the 16" on a normal fatboy. Thats about 70% more surface area on the 21". Must be a bit of a prob in high cross winds.
