    Bloody hell.

I wouldn't want to have Italian neighbours one side and Spanish the other. Might have to have the Fat Bob on idle 1/2 the night to calm things the $&@/ down.

For mine, Rossi will have to wear responsibility for what he did. I see Race Direction has said he will start last at Valencia. Hmmm.

MM contributed by deliberately tangling Rossi up into a battle to slow him down, and when Rossi pushed him wide it was MM that went to slam his bike into Rossi. I recall MM's brother isn't a saint going by his issues with Jack Miller last year, and I'm sure MM condoned that.

    That's my view anyways.

Has Italy and Spain ever officially been at war before?

I make this comment from my point of view after watching the all of the camera angles that were shown on One HD.

To me it appeared that Rossi deliberately slowed, looked for MM and when they were side by side raised his leg or knee and gave MM a shove causing him to lose control and come off his bike. I don't think that he was just protecting himself because he put himself into that position.

Whilst both were riding like demons and pushing each other to the extreme, there was no reason for Rossi to take the action that he did.

Pissed off brain fade to the extreme that will cost him dearly in many ways.

Yeah, Rossi has to wear this one. Perhaps when he looks back after all the fuss he will note that battling with MM would have given him 3rd or 4th anyways without the drastic action.

But saying all that I can't blame him for being pissed. I note MM claimed that Rossi went to kick him -- I've seen video that shows that wasn't the case which makes me doubt anything MM says. I also doubt VR wanted him to crash. Race Direction said that they didn't believe MM's claim he wasn't trying to slow things down. One guy is riding for a championship and the other riding for a mate & ego.

Valencia will be nuts but I can't see even the great VR46 getting through the grid to get near Lorenzo. Hope he does. It will give us a clue what a few million pissed off Spanaids look like! And screw it, I dig a racer that calls BS when he see's it.

Always liked Rossi... not now... something shifted in his head... MM always goes for it no matter what situation he is in... that's what's great about motorcycle racing... to get pissed off about MM hanging around and wanting to beat you and move in to cause a bike drop is as cheap as you can get... also dangerous and can hurt someone bad... Rossi hurt his reputation and that is going to have long term consequences for his legacy... great champion but lost it in the end.

Nothing wrong with racers riding hard like mm but vr has just shown himself to be a vindictive little prick

Regardless he is a fantastic rider, he has fucked up on this occasion and will surely be kicking himself for being sucked in. This has cost him the world title for sure, but who is not going to watch the GP to see if he can do it from the last row......

Rossi did something similar to Pedrosa a few years back. Rossi and Pedrosa were having a personal argument about something and Rossi was on TV saying he would make it his personal mission in life to never let pedrosa beat him. Next race Rossi deliberately bumped pedrosa off the track but got away with it cos it was deemed a 'racing incident"

If Rossi had been more subtle about the MM thing he would probably have got off with it.

But he made it too obvious. I think he had a brain snap but he hasn't lost my respect just yet. Be interesting to see how he comes from the back but I don't think he will be beating Lorenzo. I have always liked Rossi but yeah, what the fuck was he thinking?

Why do you think VR is one of the all time greatest GP riders ... His passion drives him. This time is caused him to exercise poor judgement. I still think he's a legend! I think he'll be thinking he's an idiot! Rock on Valencia, looking forward to the ride of his life!

If you guys are saying he can't win from the back, why would the "not world champions" bother to race?

There should be a qualifier for a top ten and the rest go home!
You watch the start, Rossi will pass at the least 5 riders before the first corner

Well to me it's a race, you race to win.

i think 30years back something like that would not rate a penalty. but Harley riders road with out helmets too.

I think VR is not a good follower, but MM is. it's all racing if your worried about falling off don't go racing. also it's easy to sit in a chair in your lounge & make judgment , but if you were in the riders seat you might see it differently. Also how many fall has MM had this year, how many has VR had.

You are likely right Paul, but I was reading the other guys comments that Rossi can't win from last, yet the bikes that regularly start near the back, according to the comments can never win without a Bradbury moment, it was a Tounge in cheek comment of why do they bother.

    Colin Edwards re-tweeted this pic.

Not far from the truth come Valencia. Doesn't show the stands where a few thousand VR fans are separated from a few million locals...

VR for the win. Is there a Yellow flag somewhere to ignore?

100 % agree with Krackers and Fatbat.
it's racing, and Rossi looked at MM 3 times in that corner, and "Took him out".
Rossi run Stoner wide at Laguna Seca a few years back, hmmmm, sure Rossi.
Should have lost the points, then go to Valencia all square.
Rossi should finish 4th at Valencia.
How well can Lorenzo cope with the pressure at home and world title on the line.
    fck Rossi

    it'll be great watching.....

3 hours to go for the race in Spain.

If the track is wet I reckon Rossi might just do it.

I bloody wish it would rain, but the weather forecast says cloudy with 0% chance of H20. I heard too, that Valencia is a difficult track to pass on.

I'm hoping VR gets the championship. Sometimes you need to stand for something and say get f$&ked to the piss-ants that get in your way. And Rossi has been entertaining millions of people for nearly twenty years.

    Which part mate?

Re: piss-ant, that's my personal opinion on the situation.

Re: Rossi been entertaining -- that's me saying Rossi's actions in Malaysia doesn't disqualify him as the living legend that he is. My support continues.

Re: the table, noting Lorenzo is 7 points behind VR the table shows where Rossi has to finish the race (after Lorenzo) to win the championship. It assumes Lorenzo finished before VR. Of course, if Lorenzo doesn't finish then VR is King.

Hope that helps. I gotta get a beer.
