Has anyone found a better tyre for Fat Bob's than the Metzler ME 880's? I own a 2011 model.

I replaced my Dunlops with Avon Venoms.  I also went up a size in width too.

    No complaints so far.

yep, I too have always run night dragons, stick like shit to a blanket, only get 8000k's out of a rear though, but full confidence scraping the pegs at higher speeds

I have on the rear of my softail at present a 200mm Michelin commander 2, also happy with the grip of this tyre at this point, all the reviews ive read claim twice the tyre life of other leading brands, done 4000ks so far with no significant sign of wear so this appears to be true, the N.D would be half worn at this point

    hope this helps
    cheers mate

Just got Pirelli night dragons. Don't delay. Just do it, the difference is massive from the stock rubbish. Instant confidence. No wondering on deviations in the road or squirrelly in tar snakes.
