I just got an ultra and although I get a little buffering on top of my helmet, the missus reckons she gets quite a bit as she now sits a lot higher

I'm looking at the freedom shields and guessing their 10 inch may eliminate my buffering but will it be high enough to eliminate hers or do I need a 11 or even a 12 inch screen.

And advice from those who have gone down this road before my is appreciated. 

I have the Freedom 10 and a 12inch shield, use the 12 inch in winter (that you don't have) 10 inch rest of time unless I put the Mustang
seat on which is way lower then I put the stock Harley shield back on, 12 would be to tall for you as you don't have a Hammock seat which
are very high, Jo doesn't whinge about much whilst sitting on the back or there wont be a next time. She has a wind block sitting in front
of her so don't get much at all.

Julies is taller than me and sits higher than I do so she copes the wind that come of the top of my helmet.
She didnt have that prob on the sporty.

Maybe get a 12" clear Nomada . Oh , and change the script on the bottom of your posts .

Been away for a while "literally". This is probably a bit late for ya but is something I posted a while ago. LS shield works a treat for me.

I've been busy and haven't check the forum for awhile so it's never too late.

Seems to be quite a bit of difference between a 10 and 12" screen.

I've recently found out that my buffering is happening because the leading edge of my standard screen is vibrating at high speed.
I get no buffering if I hold a finger up to it to and stop the vibrations.

So I'm thinking of trying the free mom 10".
Now if only their web site would recognize my post code.......

Hey Nomada,I had the same problem and fitted the 12" screen.  Still gets a little helmet buffering but definatly better for the passenger. The screen I used also has the slightly wider wings on it.

 

I have a new 9 inch medium tint for sale. It's for a Ultra. Only reason I'm selling is the top is right in my line of sight. I had to buy another one.
