tech question: 2010 Fat Boy outtake pipe diameter

I just bought a junk 250cc (blush) to build up for my son to learn on (LAMS thingy ) and need to swap the goose neck drag mufflers currently fitted to something that would meet the EPA standard

The outtake pipes on this 250cc "bike" measure 1 5/8" (41mm) and the old goose neck drag muffler flange without the reducer sits at approx 1 13/16" (~45.5mm)

I've just come across a pair of second hand screaming eagle slipon mufflers off a standard 2010 Fat Boy and wonder if anyone can tell me if these slip on mufflers would fit (with or without reducers) a 1 5/8" (41mm) exhaust pipe?

Checked my -81 shovel exhaust and they pretty much match the goose neck drag slip ones, but I am unsure if HD changed the size of their outtake over the years - however the guys selling them came up with some weird flange measurements (43mm inner diameter (guess that equates to something close to 1 11/16" or 1 45/64"<img src=" border="0" src="/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif" />) - but perhaps HD changed the exhaust pipe size to something weird like this - would appreciate anyone willing to provide some answer to this since I don't want to spend $ and find out that it wont fit.

    cheers
