FXCWC not starting despite new fuel pump

Hi guys I am a newbie to the forum so thanks for having me on...

Background is that I imported the 2008 Rocker C from Las Vegas about 5 years ago and was living overseas myself, so with only 2000ks on it you can guess it was stored for lng periods without much use.

Returned to oz and discovered the fuel pump was kaput siezeed so i have replaced it but new one seems not to be pulling the fuel up... in mucking around with it trying different things to get the fuel up and to start it, I snapped the fuel line (mustve been very brittle) inside the tank that runs to the outlet

The snapped internal fuel line I will replace and tend to think it is not connected to the reason I couldnt get the pump to bring the fuel up in the first instance. Interestingly I have half a tank of fuel but the fuel light is on on the dial when ignition is on...

Any ideas on what the problem/s may be ?

    Cheers

Sender may be dirty stuck or bad contacts on connectors.

I find with some efi bikes cars that you need to turn the ignition on and off a few times to prime  the fuel after disconnecting the lines etc..
