Error codes!!

So I head out for a quick ride yesterday and the red warning light comes on, bike running fine. Go straight back home and do a WOW test and get the following error codes:

1101 LHCM turn signal bulb out

1151 RHCM turn signal bulb out

    2127 Horn output shorted high

    2161 Brake lamp output open

All indicators work fine, horn works fine but no brake light (tail light works).

Take out the brake light and the bulb looks fine, filiment looks to be intact.

Appart from replacing the tail light what else could it be? I'm thinking it is something else to be throwing indicator and horn related codes.

Anyone give me a direction to look in?

I have just been through a similar situationn with my 2012 FXST.

Having taken it back to Frasers in Perth several times because of tail light and console ligth lose, when checked they kept on telling me that my aftermarket led indicators etc where the problem. ( Computer readout told them so and they wouldnt listen to any of my input)

I eventually took it to another Harley Tech in the hills who listened to what I had to say and rigged up a monitor that he uses for sevicing.

It reads constant temperature revs voltage etc.

Before I got out of the yard the voltage had spiked through 16.5V (should be 14.1-14.2V) which was throwing the BCM into a spin and sending out all these error codes.

We did check at the battery terminals which was reading the correct voltage but that was in a workshop situation.

I have only this Frdiay replaced the voltage regulator and have not recorded any errors so far.

Hay Bugs57. Thanks for your input.

Interesting, I to have aftermarket LED indicators. Might look at replacing the voltage regulator and see what happens!

Yea I was running headlight and taillight LEDs.. Harley items and arlene ness front with derringer rear LEDs. They kept on telling me this was the issue because there laptop told them so.. I had to get a new set of arlene ness for the front because he yanked on the wiring so hard to show a fault and fucked it. The problem was there before the indicators where installed but they wouldn't listen. I have run the bike all day today without any faults jumping up. Appears all good.

Took the Fat Bob out for a ride today and all was fine, no errors. Indicators, horn and tail and brake light worked fine. Not sure whats going on but if it happens again I will look at the voltage regulator. Thanks Bugs57
