hi all, I have had my 07 spec fatboy for a couple of months now trouble free and perfect until yesterday.

Riding home from a small trip the check engine lamp, battery lamp and security system lamp all came on and the odometre stopped working.

Engine was still seemingly fine and running I decidede to not stop and continue to home.

At home I turned bike off, let it sit for a minute then turned power only back on it was all normal again,

went for a small ride up the road and the odometre was all good also.

Can anyone assist me in advising me whats going on ?

The bike is standard apart from a thundrmax tuner, K&N air filter and vance and hines 2 into 1s.

    thanks  Tom

It's the Thundermax , dollars to doughnuts

Did you get the stock OEM ECM with the bike ? AND the stock O2 sensors ?

    ( I hope so , they're as expensive as all fuck !!)

I've seen these Thundermax units exhibit just these exact symptoms before now , and I have binned more than a few and tuned the replaced stock ECM

    an update on this problem.

the next day , Im all dolled up for a ride with a mate and I go to start the thing and all I get is the dreaded machine gun battery clatter.

check of the battery showed 11.9v. Im hoping that this it all it was.

New battery sourced and being picked up today.

Will let you all know outcome

went for a ride yesterday, and all seems normal again. Fingers crossed, but I think it was the battery
