    Hi

New member and first time posting on here so hopefully I have put this question in the right area.

I need to replace the valves, valve stems, seals as well as the valve springs. Valve sizes that are needed are for a pair of SE MVA haeds. I am leaning towards a set of Bob Wood 188 valve springs because of thier lifetime warranty. Will 188lb be enough valve seat pressure for the MVA heads and a woods knight prowler cam 9-6 cam. Also who makes qaulity lightweight valves to suit the MVA heads? Any info on an Aussie based shop that supplies valves would be greatly appreciated although I know I will probably have to buy from the US. I want the best valves money can buy and also want to lower the weight of the valves if possible so the valvetrain components dont have to work so hard.

    Cheers

AV&V should have all the parts you will need. Rollies Speed Shop is the agents in Oz. Download the AV&V catalog off the Rollies site. - Rob

Last time I tried buying valves from Rollies, they would only sell me a box of valves, not just the two of each I needed.

Built my engine to be a strong street performer, so didn't get get to fussy about spring pressures. Just installed the 0.650" lift behive springs to the recommended heights, 1.88" from memory for a 180lb seat pressure, & called it good. PAC are another spring maker that you might want to look up. - Rob
