    G, day guys,

Haven't posted here for a while but have a question for the electrical guru, s

Heading over to adelaide from perth next week on the bike so thought l, day brighten up the front with an led headlight and some spotty,s  l, very already got an led number plate light on the back, before these changes on the old glide lm sure the amp meter used to show it was charging about 13.5 volts, anyway after adding all these led lights l noticed today it is showing that it's charging about 15.5 volts, l stuck a brand new harley battery in the bike that the charger has been on for a week so it's fully charged.

What lm worried about is getting stuck in the middle of the nullabor with a cooked battery or worse.

Maybe lm over thinking this ,,, hope so ,, but would really appreciate any input, oh the old girl is a 2005 cvo electraglide

    Cheers Ballsy

don't risk it replace da regulator it's old enough use  stock Harley , if it over charge's it will blow out most of da electric's & cost big bucks , don't use cheap brand's or chrome reg's

Problem solved ,well I hope, when I was reading the voltage it was from the guage in the bat wing,I had tested it previously and it was spot on, anyway checked with a multimeter last night at 1000 ,2000 ,3000, revs the highest I got was 14.5 volts so all good ,should get me to Adelaide and back piss easy.
    Thanks for your time guys

make sure da reg is grounded good to frame, & @ least you have a volt meter gauge on da dash ,  16 v max thru system before trouble starts
