All,

Any interest in a lunch run to Tarago in mid-October, say Saturday 17? 

I'm only new to the Forum, and HD's for that matter, but it be good to meet y'all. And to talk bikes over a beer.

Plan could be to meet at Blamey Square at the Defence Russell Offices (Google it, there is bike parking in front of the grass) at 1115 for 1130, and then head out via Qbn-Bungendore-Tarago.

Thoughts or alternative ideas welcome.

Hi jfe. You could normally guarantee me for a quick run to tarrago for lunch but I'm in Melb for afl grand final this weekend, moamma the week after so the better half will have a to-do list for me a mile long! I'll try and come along

In theory, it's my weekend off. But I don't get weekends off, so I'll see. Need to do more riding, less commuting :/

Evidently my ability to pick a day for a ride that works for most people pretty much aligns with my ability to pick lotto numbers. Not so flash.

Let's push it back to Saturday 21 November. That's a month after the HOG rally in Qbn, two weeks after the Snowy Ride, and a bit before most of us start getting the grog lined up for Christmas. If it works, it works, otherwise all good.

ARghh! I would have but I am getting pavers delivered and I have to get them down - Saturday is the only day I have.

Was a good idea. Syd bike show should be good. I'm going to an air show. Never been to one but there's gonna be all types of historic Air Force planes which should be pretty good. We should do an act catchup though one day

Just a thought for the ACT area riders out there !!! Why dont you think about a day ride, or overnighter at Jindabyne when the Snowy Ride lll is happening in January, (see interstate ride section for dates and info)..

If I was a hot chick who needed help with my Harley, I'd bet I would have had company on a lunch run. 

But all good. Sometimes life gets in the way -- I will check out the Snowy thread.

This is a bit short notice , but i cant help that.... A few guys my way asked me only yesterday... Anyway,, this Saturday 7th May, the Loaded Dog Rally is happening a Tarago .. We will be riding in on the Saturday afternoon, (lunch time).. A few drinks,, something to eat,, checkout the bikes , and whats happening at the rally, etc, etc.. Weather looks good for around the area... If you want an overnighter, you can camp at the Rally site.. We have booked in the pub ,, there may be rooms still available as most people camp at the rally .... If it suits you ,, see you there !!!!!!
