Hi all my name is Don Micallef,

I am 52 years young, I had been ridding jap bikes in my early to late 20's

I rode bikes for about 10 years, 7 days a week. I just loved the thrill of riding until I had kids, where i needed to take them places and couldn't do that on the bike, so i sold my bike and bought a car. Now i have bought my self a Harley Fatboy 2005 FLSTFI, vivd black, put some white walls on it,and it looked magic, best thing I have ever bought my self apsalutly love it, until a couple of weeks ago, where i was putting my bike bake in the garage, where i clipped the bricks with my mirror it knocked the bike off ballance, and my tank scrapped the brick wall (SO PISSED OFF) scrapped the paint work on my tank and the decal. Contacted Harley and they said those decals are no longer available. Does any one Know some one who reproduces these decals .

    thanks Don Micallef

Many moons ago when I spent lots of money doing cars up, there was a signwriter that could basically reproduce any sticker/decal by just having a photo and the size of what you wanted. It was all done on a computer and was very cheap. I imagine this type of thing is still available and probably even better today. Try a sign writer and see if they can help. Let me know how you go as I would be interested in the outcome. The guy I refer to was in Bendigo Vic. but it was about 25 years ago.

Hi SDFM ,had a look at those decals one is 15th Anniversary on the bottom of the logo, mine says USA on the bottom of the logo.
The other one on the bottom of the logo where it says USA, that is pointed line under that where mine is a straight line.
thanks any way for that one.

Mate sorry, I forgot all about this. Follow the link to the signwriter below, he was the one that used to do them for our cars etc. many years ago. Not sure if he still does them but he was very talented.

G'day mate, Have you tried importing from the USA. Everyone is buying bikes from all different years so I don't think it would be hard to get decals or anything you need alot cheaper than almost $250.00. It's where I look first these days as Aussie dealers of Harleys charge at least 10 times more than the US including importing charges and usually takes 2-4 weeks max. Hope this helps out and ya bike is back to being perfect again.
