Has been heaps about the 422s on this forum but i cant find the answer im looking for. 

 My stock shocks on my softy have the lowering kit installed. it is low but not overly whereas unridable.

I recently changed the pipes and they are a bit lower then old ones so now i have scraping issues and need to raise it a tad.

Problem is they have no adjustment left on em to get them up.

They are over 60,000 kilolicks old so i fgiure they prob sagging a bit and due for some newbys , so i have decided on some 422s withour RAP.

They are adjustable for 2 inches, i dont know if that is 2 inches down from stock height or an inche either way?

I want it lower then stock height but not as low as it is now with lowering kit.

So im wondering if anyone can tell me is there enough adjustment with the 422s to get what i want or will i need to put a lowering kit on them as well.

Chriso the 422s have 2 inches of lowering adjustment
I think I have a spare set of Harley shocks in the shed with less than 20000 kays on them your welcome to them if that will help you out

Hi all...Chriso,Ive got the RAP on my fatboy low,They go lower than the fatboy low shocks,Ive got mine set higher than the standard fatboy low shocks but lower than a Fatboy.

Yes Chriso, that is from Stock height, you can lower up to 50mm lower. I only have mine lowered about 15mm. to keep clearance, but still looks ok. & yeh go with the Remote adjustment, saves getting down under bike each time.
