    Hi all,

Just traded my Z1000, at sixty either I was getting too slow or it was getting too quick. So after taking early retirement was going to get rid, but the better half, and obviously more intelligent one, basically said "NO, the few times you've not had a bike you've been an even more grumpy old cunt than normal", and she'd always liked Harleys, so looked at new ones and liked the look of the Low Rider, but all of the Harleys I had ever considered before were sportsters (I know most call them skirters). So looked second hand and saw the Nightster, love at first sight, went for a ride and traded. She is beautiful, but the brakes and suspension were woeful and I don't like tubed tyres, so swapped the wires for 883 alloys (so now just ordered new tyres), just taken delivery of an XR caliper, EBC floating rotor, braided line, progressive cartridge kit and waiting on Gazzi piggy backs. Came with V & H short shots, which just make a loud noise, so got a D & D bobcat, beautiful workmanship. Also waiting on a tank rise and coil relocation kit just to make her even more beautiful.

Only managed a few rides but shit is she fun!

She was meant to be a cheapish ride, but with all the extras costing lots, so thought I might as well go wit a big bore kit in a few months when I can afford. Any thoughts, 1250, 88 0r 90 inch?

And to Old Fella, at fifty your a young buck, and go to waharleyriders.myfreeforum.org great guys great information and based here. And if you go through Mandurah and want a drink and a yarn post on here and will get in touch.

    Cheers,

    Howard
