Haven't watched it in awhile. It started to feel like a 25 minute infomercial for a couple of dealerships and the Rushmore tourers. Felt like the same thing every ep. I might check it out again. Cheers for the link Pauly.

Put this show on scheduled recording and is getting sick of the 10000's of repeats clogging my disk

Over a week it would be more than sufficient to have this show on once or max twice and offer a web streem option for the once missed the show - instead it runs for a month with god knows how many repeates - that along turns me off - often when I check the weeks recording I find 5 or more recording from the same blimming show, resulting in repeated deletes (and sometime I end up deleting the new episode) - don;t like this kind of setup

The show is, well, let me put this gently - somewhat lame and mainstream - nothing radical in terms of chasing up new exiting builds - just a bunch of guyes being paid going to various bike expose, events promoting stock HD's witg the odd comment on a vintage bike (not providing anything but "looks" and "back in the days" comments)

    - Most of the show seem to be based on concervative "mum & dad" sunday trips *with the odd exception of covering salt lake races - not really exiting stuff in my mind

    - In short, too mainstream for my liking - The show ought to concentrate more on radical (oz and global) one off builds - don't have to be just HD's - Garage rats is what put harley on the map to begin with and this is what will move the technology forward - instead the show centers around stock bikes from large vendors with little or zero info on what might come out from new innovaive garage rats.

I know there's a loooooot a guys working on new inovative stuff in their garage, hidden away from recognition and media *HD even try to locate these chaps in the hope they can steele ideas make them "theirs" on "new" stock HD's - The guys hiding in their garages is what the HD show ought to look more into - it would created and expand other peoples ideas and new things would come from than again.

The mum & dad sunday trips gets a bit boring after a while (even though I like the episode covering the Tassy ride - apart from a stunning surrounding the bike still came across as 100% boring

I started to watch it, but its just too lightweight and basically a giant infomercial!

Its a shame, as it had such great potential!

Well it is called 'HD TV'. The name gives it away - Harley Davidson Television.

It is a show to advertise their bikes with a bit of padding (the show, not the bikes).

What did you expect to see?

I would have to agree with most of the above comments on this show.. When I have a spare 30 minutes I may have a look once in awhile..

There was an episode where they were talking about upgrade one of the guys bikes ,(engine wise), I thought this may be interesting , but them nothing happened !!
If they had shows that included engine upgrade/ accessories , mod advice , if may be more interesting than mostly mum and dad stuff ..
Of cause it would be all Harley and SE gear, but what else would you expect on a harley owned show ..
No doubt they check out forums like ours , so they get opinions on how they may improve the show ....

If you are watching this thread HD TV ,, please feel free to pm me, to discuss booking me in for next years Sturgis trip , (all expences paid), so I can give you some pointers , on how to improve the show !!!!! Win , Win for both of us , a great deal !!!!!!!

I'm from the other end of the spectrum - not into custom chops/rats/impractical Harleys, so I really quite enjoy the show and its format. Yes, it's one big ad and they will never say anything bad about a HD but for light entertainment and watching people ride HDs in nice places is fine by me. Anything can be improved but for what it is I'm happy to watch 30min of HDTV over any of the other drivel on TV at that timeslot.

I like the show but agree with some of the sentiment on the Forum that perhaps it is time to do a few things differently.

How about stop trying to flog the Rushmore's or Street model's every five minutes and talk about the rest of the HD range? It is like they don't exist. And how about looking a bit more at what people are putting on their bikes, even if it isn't SE stuff? You need a Harley in the first place anyways. Gear reviews would be great or talk to riders at the various shops about what they wear and/or put on their bikes and why.

It must be said, and I'm not meaning to disrespect Dundo, but Paul is the main talent of the show. Smart bloke. I think the chicks dig him too.

And please, lay off so many stories about cars. Every now and then is ok but...

How awesome is Cindy's (from Gasoline Alley) bike? The Apes are a bit wild for me, though.

I'm a member of The Jockey Journal and Chopcult. Reason being is that I like seeing old Harleys and love some of the Fab work as well.
    I own a Bobbed 83-84 Softail Evo.
That said, I like HDTV and cant wait for each episode. Its great seeing what other Harley riders are doing and where they are going. The Ads dont bother me in the least.
It would be nice if they started covering the Sporty range etc.

I enjoy HDTV. But something new would be good along with less repeats. I ride a Tourer and will update soon so I like all the Rushmore promotions but would still like to see the whole Harley range. The new 500 also gets a fair old push. Not fussed on the custom scene as there has been plenty of yank shows on theat but upgrades and everyday mods would be interesting to see.

Unforntuanatly someone has to pay for these shows so the few dealers and promotions allow for this show to exist. Good work HDTV and great to have an Aussie show to watch.
