Rinehart 2 into 1

    I am looking at changing the V & H big shots on my 2012 Fatboy to Rinehart 2 into 1.

    Does anyone have any info on these pipes? good or bad?

    no specific info on the Rineharts but typically any 2 into 1 is better than 2 - 2s.

    I have a set of Big Shots and they have a balance pipe so they work well
    I also have a V&H pro pipe that has had mods which is another post ive done
    and next Sunday ill be putting my bike on a dyno with a bassani 2 into 1 road rage and ill post the run sheet
    once done
    I myself prefer the 2 into 1 pipe due to the fact they sound better look better and seam to work better

    Thanks for the replies. I now have the Rinehart fitted and the power is really smooth right through and seems to be much more low/mid range power than with the big shots.
    I have been experimenting with the baffles in the big shots for some time now, but nothing I did to the original or quiet baffles made it perform like it does now.
    Will get it the dyno soon for a tweek.
    Had 103hp and 109 tq last time it was checked.
    Will let you know what end result is.

    Yeh, its different, deeper and quieter.
    Most people seem to like the note.
    I haven't had anyone ride it yet to see what it sounds like on the road.

    I dont have the sheet for the rinehart yet, been waiting for email copy because the one he gave me was an older one and I didnt notice either.
    Also I just got back from first decent ride and the bike is pinging around 3000 rpm in 5th and 6th so Im heading back down tomorrow to see whats going on.
    The big shots sheet is in my pics.
    Will try post the rinehart one tomorrow.

    Nice bike and irrespective of the pipes and diff with the last pipes and performance, hopefully you're happy with it less the pinging.

    Not all 2-1 pipes are as good as others. The bloke who tuned my bike recommended just two and I'm sure he's seen most out there although there will always be some pipes and combinations that aren't seen often if at all.

    Blokes who tune a lot of bikes have a wealth of info on what combinations work, where they work, what to expect etc. But their advice is not based on aesthetics or sound which is more important to some and less so for others.

    Yeh very happy.
    Get the pinging sorted and not too concered about the numbers.
    It feels like its just as quick and maybe quicker off the bottom.
    I just love the smoothness when riding around at lower speeds in taller gears.
    When I took it in for an adjustment for the new exhaust, Fred thought it would just need a tweek or 2 but after runing it up on the dyno he shut it down and said this things all over the place and had to almost build a whole new map, so he is a little surprised its pinging.

    I guess we will find out tomorrow.

    Ok, the ignition timing had to be retarded about 4 deg. to stop the pinging and now the numbers have dropped a bit more.
    I now have 94.35 hp and 110.13 tq. although, he did put the bike on his new dyno which he told me has about a 3 hp difference to the old one.
    So I guess the bike never had 103 hp with the big shots. maybe around the 100 mark.
    The run sheet is a bit hard to read but I will try and scan it now and post it.

    I just had my bike tuned by Fred. Does a real good job, especially in making the bike smoother to ride.
