Hi All 

Whats your thoughts on the new sportster for 2016 ? 

Like: new colours, new suspension, new air cleaner, new seats.

Dislike: New wheels, new badging (forty eight almost has it right without the physical badges, 883 eagle looks crap), new "laser cut exhaust heat shield".

I'm happy with my 2015, realistically I'd rather upgrade to better suspension anyway, so I'd rather the better wheels over the new suspension.

im the same with you on the dislikes . not sure how i feel about the new fat forks .

I love the new Iron seat, and idea if it is available as a part?

My thoughts vary by model. Pretty much like all the changes to the Iron. Colours, suspension, the new mags, new seat and even the blacked out exhaust is an improvement. The 48 changes don't gel quite so well. For me, the 48 has always been more 'classic' or 'old' in its style, so the new changes with the mag wheels and exhaust shields take it too far away from the original concept and make it neither 'new' nor 'old' in style. The changes just don't work together for me. Tank badging does not work well either. New seat on the 48 is probably a good idea, but I always liked the old 48 seat, much maligned though it is! TC
