    Your headlights look as if they are pointing to the sky., Safe travels, and you wont need extra fuel, just sit on ya 110km/h. Bloody cold down on NSW Central Coast & rain here today ( Friday 18th) so keep ya wet weather gear handy.

    i am watching this "ride" with interest .

    i love reading the updates for sure cool

    Feel as if i knwo you already

    Any info you post would be much apprecaitted by me'

    I'll be thinking of you as you ride the long roads

    I second that.

    Friday night in NSW is gonna be about 10 degrees C on the coast and a fair bit colder inland.

    I just checked out the weather channel and its gonna be 3 degrees in Canberra in the morning for the next few days. With an occasional shower.

    Mate, for what its worth, you've achieved legend status in my eyes. This is awesome. I reckon your in the thoughts of a lot of forum members right now. Enjoy it mate, and sing out if your coming anywhere near the Gold Coast, me and the mrs will help however we can. Stay safe.

    Looks like you're having a good trip and seeing the sights along the way.

    Appears that you're getting a good mileage out of the tank. Always pays to fill up when you can.

    I hope that the burger was as tasty as it looks.

    Rob - what a legendary effort your making great time with the trip.

    Camooweal is only 2 hours away and we'll be at the Mount Isa Hotel just before 11am.

    Both the CVO and Dianes Switchback will be parked somewhere between the pub and the coffee club.

    The Mt Isa Hotel is in the centre of the city next to main roundabout and the town clock.

    The bar opens at 10am so I'll have a head start. Safe travels till then old mate. PM sent.

    I've just come across this thread tonight and have been reading with interest.  Lots of good advice given, and so far by the sounds of it, you are having a pretty smooth run so far.  Safe travelling and I will be eagerly following the rest of your journey.  Great pics, and even better commentary too.

    Today we caught up with Rob on the outskirts of Mount Isa and rode into the Mt Isa Hotel.

    It was a great to catch up and talk about the ride and with some cold beers to replenish the fluids.

    Rob was off again soon after heading for Winton so I hope he got there safely. Take care mate.

    For some reason the photo shows a blemish on my face... think it was a reflection from the down light.

    Hi there Rob, I read your earlier post this morning which Is no longer visible. What was the deal with some "interesting" locals. Why didn't they take a liking to the tattooed traveller? Keep the posts coming, they make for enjoyable reading.
