hi all, I've just ordered my softtail slim.. And I was looking through pictures of it.. And realised there were two different type of air filter that came standard with the bike.. 1 the round one 2 the standard one that goes on all softtail.. Why is this so? 

 

I ordered mine based on the U.S. website pics. When I saw mine being put together in the workshop with the oval air filter cover, I ordered a round filter cover to be put on instead instead.

I bought a 2009 Heritage a few months ago and couldn't work out why Clymers and the owners manual only showed the oval air filters. The previous owner bought it new and probably ordered it with the round filter which It's got. Question... How do I clean it? Detergent and water or filter cleaner.
