    What a cunt! (the thief).

Obviously the security systems on these bikes are only "so useful'. A Honda dealer told me how to get around the security system if the fob  is lost. So if he knew then I guess every thieving cunt knows how to as well.. Guess no one can hear you (or your bike) scream in space, or a secured carpark.

Condolences to your brother. Hope he had insurance. No doubt the derby cover will be the first item to be removed.

Never had a bike stolen myself but have had every tool stolen out of my workshop before, while I was at home, and awake. Would have killed the fucker first then asked questions if I found out who it was, but never did.

Yeah there are some low lifes out there for sure, my brother is an afghan veteran and works in security so comes and goes for work. They must have been casing the place but we have cctv footage of them. Thanks again for looking out and passing the word.

CCTV pics of the low lifes might be easier to track down than the bike.

Just wondering how this occurred, may help others to avoid this.
Did they just pick it up alarm blaring, stole keys n fob, snapped steering lock and bypassed alarm????

Not hard to disable alarm by taking seat off and pulling main fuse

If memory serves a couple (or more?) HDs were pinched from the underground car park during the bike expo at Southbank
a couple of years or so back. Likewise, there was CCTV images of the blokes, in hoodies and gave nothing away.
Bikes were quickly loaded onto utes (someone correct me if I got it wrong)
Perhaps HDs are more secure out on the street, ironically.
Can only imaging how shit your Bro feels.

It was in a multi story unit in docklands and the body corporate wont let him see the footage of cctv but it has been handed onto police who may let us have a look. It was an import and didn't have a fob alarm system. either way still havnt heard of anything as of yet.

I was working on my last bike about 1 in the morning when I moved it and the alarm activated (I didn't have the fob with me). To shut the alarm off quickly so as not to wake my family and neighbours, I pulled the main fuse quickly and the alarm stopped. Just saying this is how it worked for me.

I saw a bloke picked his bike up from the dealership after getting it rebuilt in U.S. The other day. He had just retired, got cleaned up and killed on the way home, and some prick knocked his bike off before his family could pick it up. Scumbags everywhere. So they guy has been caught, but bike never to be seen again? Hope he had a decent agreed value. Would hate to be getting market value on any harley at the moment.
