    Gday guys,

Had an interesting experience that I thought I would share. I picked up a pair of Roland Sands gloves quite some time ago. I had done my license and was just buying the odd bike related thing from time to time to keep me pumped up while the bike was in the shed. Anyway, finally back on the road, about 20 hours in to the gloves life the silver RSD snap button popped off. Wasn't thrilled, but I've had worse days. Anyway, within a fortnight the zipper pulls both snapped. Zip itself fine, but the actually puller snapped at neck on both. I had big fat 2XL hands and without the puller, bloody hard to use. Anyway, I was looking for new gloves out and about, and I thought fuck it. I'm going to email RSD HQ on their website, send some pics and just say I was disappointed. Because I had the gloves unused tucked away for a year before I used them I didn't bother contacting the retail bloke I bought them off. Anyway, today,( Monday in USA) I got a great email from RSD customer service. Asking me for my size and postal address. They don't make these ones anymore, they are posting me a pair of their new design for free to OZ. I'm pumped. I didn't have high hopes, but I thought it was pretty shit house that they packed it in so soon. I didn't go bonkers on the email. Just sent a pic of the gloves, and then a pic of my RSD apes, grips, wallet, risers etc, and literally just said I was disappointed in the quality, Ive been pretty brand loyal etc etc. they didn't even ask where I bought them, or ask any rubbish questions to make it hard. Just good old fashioned, no worries, new ones are their way, let us know if you like them. I will post a pic when they get here. I was stoked. I didn't expect that to happen, and I rarely bother with complaints as most people don't give a toss, and your dealing with a 20year old smart arse moll on the phone. Anyway, I thought it was a great result. Go RSD!

Good result! I eyed up some RSD gloves the other week, but once I saw the cost I refused to fork out chitloads of money just for a RSD logo on my gloves.

Well, I got a follow up email for my address etc. she forgot, or didn't process the fact I'm in Oz. she said leave it with me for a few days. I thought that would be the end of it, or maybe ask me to cover post. Nope. Knock on the door today. Same day courier from Melbourne.she got onto Momza Imports, who must be their Oz Agent. New gloves. Same model, just the newer version. Very similar, without the snap button that came off, and the zips look a bit chunkier. I can't load pics on iPad for this site. They are RSD Diesel in tobacco/ black. I'm a happy camper.i still don't know why I emailed them. I never do that. I was about to throw them in the bin and go glove shopping. $100 I don't need to spend, can get 2 cartons at dan murphys for that...I think this weekend just paid for itself.

I would be sending them a mail with some photos, I think they have tweaked a lot of their designs after probs with snap buttons and cheap zippers. Might as well have a crack mate

DAVUTCH I'm wondering how you went with the jacket in the end?
I know it's been ages but am jacket shopping ATM and wondering what I'll go with
    when funds allow.
