It will be wiring mate as the shells for domestic and international are the same but wiring plugs are diffrent.

Get the domestic headlight and a H13 wiring harness and you will be right, its expansive (around $300) but you will kill two birds with

the one stone also benifiting by having both daymaker lights on at once insted of the one eyed jap look.

If you need to know more use the search bar, plenty of us have done it

Can't understand what your saying but no they not the same. Domestic and international plugs are completely different and it seems the only one that takes daymaker is the domestic one, UNLESS the wiring conversion has already been done beforehand  to accept the domestic one. Hence my post above.

Well thats a first for me, cause the plug on the back of my domestic and the plugs on the bike were different. had to change the plugs on the bike to fit headlight ?????

I know most were like that cause there was a lot of talk on the forums about the hassle of the changeover to be able to get both lights on.

If thats now the case everyone should do the simple changeover.

On mine, a 2010 assembled, 2011 MY FatBob the domestic light unit was a straight swap for the international one.  No mucking around with the wiring harness was needed.

The only difference really is that there is one less wire coming out of the headlamp assembly as the domestic doesn't have the pilot light.  But the plug was exactly the same.

    Cheers,

    FatRob.
